Join us for this FREE event to celebrate the launch of Truth Telling Together, a national  movement that seeks to inspire all Australians to educate themselves and others about Indigenous Australian history, culture and law.

Inspired by the life work of Rev Dr Djiniyini Gondarra as a prolific truth seeker, Truth Telling Together affirms that we can only move forward as a nation if we recognise and act upon the  importance of truth telling as recommended in the Uluru Statement.

Dr Gondarra believes that by sittng together and sharing each other’s perspectives and  worldviews, we can dispel the misconceptions that have plagued Indigenous Australians for so long.

‘Once there is a foundation (djalkirri) of mutual respect, then we can move forward to  meaningful political changes that are not tokenistic and superficial but truly empowering and restorative of justice.’

The event will feature the screening of award winning film that looks at the life and legacy of  Dr Gondarra, Ḻuku Ngärra: The Law of the Land, this will be followed by a line-up of Indigenous and non-Indigenous guests expressing their truth through music, poetry and  storytelling.

This film screened to 2 sold out evenings at Byron Theatre back in March 2023, so it is strongly advised that you reserve your Eticket online to avoid disappointment.

Please note: the film is PG rating and not suitable for small children.

General Admission, first in best seated. Strictly 10 tickets per booking.

This event is proudly sponsored by Our Generation Media and Planet Corroboree.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
