The Honey Sliders are back with a brand-new show!

Press rewind and start from the top - this is The Honey Sliders’ Mix Tape. A carefully curated  collection of songs, arranged in a special sequence to celebrate the music that inspired,  influenced, and shaped the band’s journey. Like the classic cassette compilations of decades  past, The Mix Tape unfolds across two sides, taking audiences on a musical road trip through  beloved classics, hidden treasures, and unforgettable moments from the golden age of rock, soul,  country, folk, and blues.

Since 2013, The Honey Sliders have built a reputation as one of Australia’s most creative and  entertaining live music acts, presenting a new concept show almost every year. The Mix Tape marks their 15th show in just 13 years - an extraordinary achievement that reflects both their  musical curiosity and their enduring love of the artists who came before them.

Over the years, audiences have joined The Honey Sliders as they explored the music of The  Beatles, The Band, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, Cream, and many more legendary artists. This  latest production revisits some of those highlights while opening the tape case to reveal songs the  band has never performed before - deep cuts, cult favourites, and timeless hits that deserve their  moment in the spotlight.

At the heart of The Honey Sliders are five musicians whose shared passion for great songs and  live performance has fuelled more than a decade of acclaimed shows: Danny Widdicombe (guitar and vocals), Ben Carstens (drums and vocals), Bos Borley (bass, graphics and vocals),  Dan Mansfield (keys, guitar and vocals), and Dana Gehrman (vocals and guitar). Together, they bring a wealth of musical experience, exceptional musicianship, and a genuine love for the  material they perform.

More than simply a tribute to great records, The Mix Tape is a celebration of the songs that  soundtrack our lives - the tracks we played until the tape wore thin, the songs we shared with  friends, and the music that continues to inspire us decades later. Every selection has been chosen  with care and performed with the passion, soul, and authenticity that have become hallmarks of a Honey Sliders show.
