Song Writing Workshop
Join us for a fun and interactive Song Writing Workshop at the Byron Centre in the Wategooes Room, Byron Bay NSW Australia. This event is perfect for aspiring songwriters of all levels. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop will help you unlock your creativity and write amazing songs.
Welcome to the Songwriting and Music Production Workshop! We are honored to have Dave Atkins who produces his an others work, it's the former drummer of Wolfmother, Azealia Banks and had his own bands Resin Dogs and Pangaea. He has a a rich industry background. And there is Harlen (formerly known as Jess Harlen), an accomplished singer-songwriter, and former member of Cocoa Jackson Lane, Blue King Brown, Lily Meola, Clay, Ruel and others. Two critically acclaimed albums, "Neon Heartache" and "Park Yard Slang." Honored with Best Female Artist at the Age EG Awards 2010, she also received triple nominations at the Waiata Maori Music Awards. Beyond accolades, her impactful songwriting has resonated on TV shows in Australia, New Zealand, and the US. A seasoned performer, she has toured globally with acts like Cocoa Jackson Lane, Lily Meola, and collaborated with rising star Ruel.
She has shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Steven Tyler and Jack Johnson. In this workshop, they will introduce you to songwriting and production, incorporating their expertise and experiences.
By the end of this workshop, you will have gained valuable insights into the art of songwriting and music production. You will have been opened to various techniques, tips, and industry practices from Dave Atkins, who has brought rhythm and energy to Wolfmother's music, and Jess Harlen, a skilled singer-songwriter.
