Set sail for Magical Mystery Island!
Byron Community Primary School presents an original musical adventure filled with island magic, mysterious music, tiny dancing octopi, stormy Starfish, peculiar pirates and all manner of curious characters.
When the Whales set sail for their first island camp, they’re expecting a week of friends, freedom and no parents. But when a wild storm sends them spectacularly off course, Help! is definitely needed. Shipwrecked on a mysterious island where nothing is quite what it seems, they soon discover they’re going to need a little help from their friends if they’re ever going to find their way home.
Along the way, there’s an octopus’s garden, unexpected adventures, strange encounters and more than a few surprises. But as the mystery unfolds, the Whales discover that the only way forward might be to come together, listen to each other and embrace the wonderfully weird world around them.
Packed with colour, comedy, music and a touch of psychedelic magic, Magical Mystery Island is a joyful celebration of friendship, growing up and community, with Beatles magic woven throughout.
