1tbsp

If there was one Australian dance artist who took 2023 by storm it was 1tbsp. Perhaps one of the most prolific writers and producers in the space. Maxwell Byrne, AKA 1tbsp, Golden vessel has had an incredible run of successive releases since his 'Kanashi' EP debut in 2021. Since that point the releases have grown in their gravity and consistency. The evolution of the 1tbsp sound has been addictive to follow, clever, fun and unique use of vocal sampling has given him an impetuous yet unmistakable sound. Fast paced, hard hitting house numbers with playful modular synths has earned him spots at Listen out, Party in the Paddock, Laneway festival and many others. In mid 2023, under his label 'Sumoclic' 1tbsp burst onto the scene with breakout EP, 'i'ts very loud', with standout track 'No Nein' featuring the mysterious Austrian artist 'Mietze Conte'. Max barely gave his fans a breath before delivering more, leading into his debut album 'Mosquito Love' with a string of singles with major praise from radio, streaming and fans. In late 2023 he completed his debut US tour and now gears up for an extensive run of Australian shows including all the major stops, finishing with us in Byron on March 02.

PARIS

Attaining global audiences with millions of streams across releases on Stil Vor Talent (DE), This Never Happened (USA) and Gallery Recordings (AU) and having toured Europe, UK, India, USA and Mexico numerous times, Australia’s PARIS is one of the country’s most prolific electronic artists in her lane. With multiple Triple J and Double J high rotation radio ads and Spotify covers in the last two years to DJ spots on Australia’s most in-demand festivals including Pitch Music Festival, Beyond The Valley and Splendour In The Grass, the Sydney artist has paved her path. PARIS has garnered enthusiasts within the industry from Maceo Plex and Lane 8 to Joseph Capriati and Oliver Koletzki, while also commanding attention from Mixmag, Sirius XM and BBC Radio 1 with official remixes for Grammy winners RÜFÜS DU SOL, plus Cassian and Nils Hoffmann.

Jai Piccone

After spending the last few years between Barcelona and Byron working with his project 'Tora', producing new solo music, Jai Piccone releases his new EP 'Make Me Understand' under the prestigious 'Gallery Recordings' imprint. His sound fuses a plethora of inspirations referencing classic deep house cuts of the 90's, UK garage, modern hard dance, ambient, and timeless and modern songwriters. He also now returns home to work on new music and play a run of shows through Australia including, Laneway, Abecrombie w 1tbsp & Mietze Conte, Haven and more.

Exxy

Exxy's profile is as impressive as it is mysterious, from his emotive, dancefloor ready solo productions to his collaborative compilation releases featuring the likes of Skin on Skin, Chrush3d, Swim, Stüm, Sam Alfred and more amassing millions of streams over on Soundcloud. It's clear that as a curator Exxy is an authority on whats next in the Australian scene. His recent 2 track EP 'you never know' will leave you teary eyed on the dancefloor.

DJ Sugarush

DJ Sugarush - The mysterious up and coming duo have been making waves behind the scenes with their unreleased material. Hailing from Barcelona they bring a fun and fast paced sound combining the new wave of trance, leftfield bass, UKG, hard house and more. Expect something sweet from them soon.

Castla

Castla, is a new Australian DJ residing on the most eastern tip of the country in Byron Bay. A multidisciplinary curator and artist who has premiered his films internationally and regularly travels the world to experience the finest music and art cultures first hand. ‘Too many interests is my signature. I’m obsessed with stretching my own taste, chances are I’m playing you something I’ve only heard a few times myself. Expect the process of discovery to be mutual and the selection to be intuitive and alive.’ For this particular show he is working on a pool of downtempo and halftime breaks, dubstep, uk bass, reggaeton, techno, house and r&b.
