This screening of 8 George Greenough short films is a fundraiser for Liberation Larder.

The George Greenough experience show is an exclusive 8-pack of short films that have been brought together in one place by their creator. The resulting programme takes the viewer on a trip of unique oceanic based experiences that create positive feelings and will guarantee to put a big smile on your face. Sit back and relax as George takes you on journeys along the dreamy coastlines of California and New South Wales.

Experience pioneering early POV footage of riding waves, surfing deep within the tube and heading below the surface with the dolphins. Much of the footage within the films was filmed more than 50 years ago but appears to be timeless and if anything more relevant than ever!

In George’s words the show consists of-

‘Get it by the wings’- “Kicking off the show by candidly attempting to catch a large wasp by the wings and letting it go.”
‘1968 surf talk’- I talk about 2 different waves and the moves to put the camera in the right spot to get the shot.
‘Heads’- “Crew doing various cool things and just having fun.”
‘Wipeout’- “I talk about and experience 4 different types of wipeout. All shot with an onboard camera.

‘Deep tube riding’- “A tutorial in riding the tube using footage from the big wave in Echoes.I put the wave back together as it was originally shot and talk about the problems of filming a wave this big and long.”
‘All I’ve found’- “ Short trips in old cars during the mid-60’s”
‘Echoes’- “Shot in 1970/71. A timeless trip in the sea that you have to experience yourself. All set to the monumental track of the same name by Pink Floyd.”
‘Surfing through the eyes of a Dolphin’- “What dolphins see and experience when they are surfing at sunset. Shot in ‘Super 35mm’.”

All films by George Greenough.

Soundtracked by George Greenough, Will Conner, Band of Frequencies, Pink Floyd and tyDi.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
