Common Wealth is an intimate yet globally minded documentary that follows filmmaker Kane Guglielmi on a personal journey to question the economic and political systems that shape modern life.
Raised within a conservative, capitalist worldview, Guglielmi travels across eight countries, including Switzerland, Australia, Norway, Mexico, Singapore, the UK, Italy and the USA, exploring alternative models that prioritise compassion, fairness, community and shared prosperity.
What begins as a search for answers evolves into a thoughtful exploration of how societies might build greater unity and equity in an increasingly divided world. Gentle in spirit yet ambitious in scope, Common Wealth is both a deeply personal story and a hopeful call to reimagine the structures that define how we live together.
