Tell us about your role at the Byron Community Centre? It is my responsibility to maintain a system that is flexible and functions for the Community Centre with the needs of an evolving community.

I am currently responsible for IT systems administration across the Byron Markets, Byron Theatre, Fletcher Street Cottage and the Byron Community Centre head office.
I manage various IT-related services, such as internet/network, servers/services, hardware/workstation support and security. As part of my role, I also provide both remote and onsite end-user IT support for the various Byron Community Centre departments.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job? It is an amazing feeling knowing that my participation and involvement with the Byron Community Centre's team over the past 10 years has echoed out through the community and continues to benefit so many around me.

I love my community because…I have been part of this community for 32 years now. Over this time, growing up here has defined me, and everything I know to be important.
