Festival of the Stone Returns, Supporting Fletcher Street Cottage

Live music, local connection and real impact, supporting Fletcher Street Cottage this winter in Byron.

Festival of the Stone Returns, Supporting Fletcher Street Cottage

Stone & Wood’s Festival of the Stone returns to Byron Bay on Saturday 20 June, bringing with it a stacked lineup of Australian acts, fresh brews and a strong sense of community.

Now in its 12th year, the much-loved event has become a winter highlight for the region, drawing locals and visitors together for a night that blends live music, tradition and connection. This year’s lineup features Pacific Avenue, Ruby Fields, Dear Seattle, Eliza & The Delusionals and Liquid Zoo, a mix of some of the country’s most exciting and established indie acts.

From chart-topping releases to sold-out national tours, each artist brings their own energy to the stage, setting the tone for what has become one of Byron’s most anticipated annual events.

Alongside the music, Festival of the Stone continues its long-standing support of Fletcher Street Cottage, Byron Shire’s community hub for people experiencing homelessness and hardship.

“Festival of the Stone is such a special event for Byron. It brings people together in a really genuine way, and at the same time, it directly supports the work we do every day at Fletcher Street Cottage.” - Kate Love, Communications Manager, Byron Community Centre

Located in the heart of Byron Bay, Fletcher Street Cottage provides meals, showers, laundry facilities and personalised support for individuals and families doing it tough. It is a place of care, connection and dignity, where everyone is welcomed and supported.

Funds raised through the festival help make these essential services possible.

“For many people, the Cottage is a lifeline. It is somewhere safe to go, where people can access practical support and feel part of a community. The support from Festival of the Stone plays a real role in helping us keep those services running.”

The event also marks the annual release of Stone & Wood’s Stone Beer, a limited winter brew crafted using heated stones in a nod to traditional brewing methods, adding another layer of ritual to the night.

As the cooler months settle in, Festival of the Stone offers more than just a great night out. It is an opportunity to come together, enjoy incredible music and contribute to something that has a lasting impact locally.

Early bird tickets are now on sale, and every ticket, every donation and every person who shows up helps support Fletcher Street Cottage.

“If you are heading along, you are already making a difference,” Kate says. “That is what makes this event so special.”

Gather your crew, secure your tickets and be part of a night that gives back to the Byron community.
