What makes this day special? It is truly a special day as Fletcher Street Cottage are celebrating their first birthday. In that time we have experienced a lot of growth from 20-30 breakfasts a day to now 50-60 a day. Fletcher Street Cottage offers a vital service to those who are sleeping rough, offering breakfast, showers, laundry, and emergency relief such as food vouchers, clothing and also support appointments.
How long has it been? Today, Wednesday 12th of March, Fletcher Street Cottage is celebrating one year of being open. In that time we have had 7500 visitors.
What have you liked so much about the event? It was lovely to have our Fletcher Street Cottage community all together. We had our volunteers, service users, visiting services, neighbouring businesses and staff all come together to celebrate this milestone.
Do you see this event happening in the future? Absolutely, we will celebrate each birthday.
