The rest of the will see the Byron Markets on the 1st Sunday of every month. With over 300 stalls there’s lots of activities for kids and plenty of entertainment for everyone. The focus is on locally produced craft and food stalls, but the Market also includes interesting imports from around the region and as far a field as Africa and Asia!
There are always extra markets over the summer season with a special Xmas in mid December and a special mid - January markets. Each of these are held on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

Each month two local charities collect donations at the entrances to the market, giving a major boost to their fundraising. There are initiatives in place to ensure waste minimisation and maximum recycling. The Centre team is currently working to improve the Market site by planting trees and native plants.
Over the 2010 /11 summer season, from Oct to March, the Byron Sunday Market were held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month. This was quite a successful trial enterprise. The continuation of this summer season into the future is under discussion with the Byron Shire Council.

The Community Bazaar continues every Saturday from 10am to 2pm at the Centre. Check out the eclectic range of stalls, from books to beanies, massage and tarot readings plus food and friendly faces.
For a ‘space’ at this popular mini-market, just arrive at 9.30am with $15 plus your goods or service and see the Bazaar Manager.
