Popping up in the heart of Byron Bay for the first two weeks of January, The Byron Speakeasy will present six evenings of entertainment inspired by the classic speakeasy nightclub vibe of days gone by - with incredible musical guests, dancing into the later hours, bespoke cocktails and an atmosphere steeped in the mystique of the prohibition era.
Tonight, we are thrilled to introduce our feature artist, the powerhouse vocalist Prinnie Stevens. Known for her spellbinding voice and dynamic stage presence, Prinnie combines her extensive experience in musical theatre, pop, soul, and gospel to deliver a diverse and unforgettable show. This is a story about women in song — their struggles, their triumphs, their pain — yet through it all, their beauty remains timeless. You will be transported from the vintage speakeasy atmosphere to the very heart and soul of Prinnie Stevens, as she delivers a performance that is at once sultry, smoky, and sentimental.
"Sultry, smoky and sentimental — a chill-inducing masterclass in modern cabaret" – The Advertiser ★★★★★
"I felt lost in her music, enchanted and transported to a 1940s jazz club in New York" – Adelaide Review Team ★★★★
