I love the community that I am part of for its diversity and inclusivity.
Tell us about your role at the Byron Community Centre? I started volunteering with the shower facilities at the cabin around 4 years ago then moved to FSC to help set up and coordinate all the services on offer, I now work with Chris as the alternate breakfast coordinator, still volunteering in the kitchen one morning a week as well as a lot of running around town for the service.
What’s the most inspiring part of your job? Having developed trust and respect from our service users, I really can see how FSC helps their life situation and it gives me so much joy and to be involved with the team in providing such an invaluable service for our community.
I love the community... that I am part of for its diversity and inclusivity.
