Join us for African Dance classes, where everyone is welcome to experience the vibrant rhythms and movements of African dance. These sessions feature warm-ups, dynamic rhythmic sequences, body percussion, free expression, choreography and a relaxing cool-down. It's an easy pace and low-impact, suitable for all levels. High vibes and Afro beats await, promoting dance fitness, rhythm, coordination, social connection and joy.

Studio 55 offers a vibrant theatre class for individuals over 55, held at Byron Theatre. Led by the experienced duo, Philippa Williams and Brin Pritchard, the class focuses on improvisation - eliminating the need for line memorisation. Participants explore a diverse range of theatrical elements including commedia, clowning, mask work, creative writing, and more. Designed for both novices and seasoned enthusiasts, the class promises a fun-filled learning experience with plenty of laughter. No prior experience is required, inviting everyone to join in and explore the joy of theatre.

Join us for a rejuvenating Chair Yoga course in Byron Bay, held every Friday from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Community Cabin on Carlyle Street. This 10-week course runs from July 26 to October 3, 2024, aligning with the school term, and is designed to enhance your flexibility, balance, and strength while providing numerous health benefits. Chair Yoga incorporates meditation, relaxation and breathwork, making it a comprehensive wellness practice suitable for all levels. After each class, enjoy a free morning tea and connect with fellow participants.
