Background
The Byron Arts Classic is a community event showcasing the diverse range of artists in the region. First established as the Easter Arts Classic in 1982, the exhibition was reinstated in 2010 as an annual event at the Community Centre after a seven-year absence. The exhibition features paintings, sculpture, works on paper and photography produced by local artists from the Northern Rivers, including Ballina, Byron, Lismore and Tweed Shires. The Arts Classic aims to showcase the area's gifted artisans to the local community and to the many visitors from around the globe.
