The Veranda RoomOn the first floor on the Community Centre, adjoining the large balcony overlooking Jonson Street, the 40 square meter Verandah Room is ideal for meetings, conference break-out rooms, classes or special events such as book launches. The room has a circular table which can seat 18 people, or the furniture can be cleared away to allow about 30-40 people standing or with lecture style seats. For entertainment functions the folding doors can be opened for direct access onto the veranda.
$20 per hour (additional $25 to open or close out of office hours

Next to the Veranda Room, the 110 square meter Southern Cross University Room seats approximately 100 people in lecture style. It is adjacent to the Verandah Room, separated by sound absorbing concertina doors so it can be combined with the Verandah Room to form a single space. It is ideal for exhibitions, meetings, conference break-out rooms, classes or special events.

On the ground floor next to the Fletcher Street entrance, this room can comfortably cater for small to medium-sized meetings or classes of up to 25 people. The room includes a small kitchen area and the doors open onto the courtyard.

Catering and bar service can be arranged for any event. Including morning tea, buffet lunches and evening service from canapés to cocktails!
