If you haven’t noticed already, the exterior of the community centre is getting a much needed paint job!
The front of the building, the entrance way and north facing wall have all received some much needed attention. The work has involved stripping away around 5 layers of paint on the north wall. This wall is still the original timber from the old community centre, so has historical value in maintaining. A few timber repairs were required before the painting could commence. The money to undertake this work was received from the NSW Government Public Reserve Trust fund.
Work has been completed by Byron Bay Painters with paint generously donated by Taubmans.
